About the Role

We are seeking a full-time experienced Frontend Developer with expertise in React. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications for real-time video monitoring. You will play a key role in creating intuitive user interfaces and optimizing performance for seamless user experiences.

This is a remote contract position, open to applicants from many countries.

You are a skilled and experienced Frontend Developer with a passion for creating seamless, efficient, and engaging web interfaces. You have deep knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and state management tools, and you’re comfortable collaborating across remote teams. You have a strong understanding of performance optimization, responsive design, and front-end architecture. You stay updated with the latest technologies and development best practices, and you take pride in delivering high-quality code that supports complex use cases like video streaming and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and performant web applications using React.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
• Create responsive, cross-browser-compatible user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance and load times.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend interfaces with server-side APIs.
• Participate in UI/UX planning and propose interface improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and front-end best practices.
• Participate in bi-weekly stand-ups and team meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX, etc.).
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and component-based design.
• Familiarity with video technologies (WebRTC, HLS) and real-time applications is a plus.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote team setting.
